Itinerary

Day 1:Mombasa/Diani Area - Tsavo East National Park

Early morning picked up from your respective hotel at 7:30 a.m, and drive to Tsavo East National Park through Bachuma gate arriving in timefor morning game drive with chance to Spot Red Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes, Hippos, Giraffes, Gazelles, Waterbucks, Leopards, Zebras and different bird species. Proceed to the lodge for lunch as well as check-in. Relax until 15.00 hours time for afternoon game drive.Tsavo East National Park is located 333 km from Nairobi and approximately 160 Km from Mombasa, it is one of the largest national parks in Kenya.The park contains some fantastic terrain, including rivers, lakes, tarns, glaciers, and peaks with a wide variety of vegetation, including grasslands, acacia vegetation, open plains and savanna. It is therefore recognized as one of the world’s leading bio-diversity strongholds. Some of the popular destinations within the park include the Mudanda Rock; you can view a variety of animals at this park, which includes; elephant, lion, leopard, waterbuck, kudu, gerenuk, zebra and Aruba Hunter’s hartebeest. You will also observe the large herds of red elephants- they glow red due to red dust of Tsavo. There are also about 500 species of birds, including the ostrich, and migratory birds like kestrels and buzzards. Dinner and overnight at Voi Safari Lodge or Zomeni Lion Hill Lodge.

Day 2:Tsavo East National Park - Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, depart to Amboseli National Park, passing through Maasai land. Arrive in Amboseli National Park and make a game drive en route before checking in at Amboseli Lodge or Kibo Safari Camp. After lunch, relax until 13:45hrs, time for the afternoon game viewing that lasts until 18:15hrs.Learn the Maasai People culture by visiting them at their Village (The Manyattas). Dinner and overnight at Sentrim Amboseli Camp or Kilima CAmp.

Day 3:Amboseli National Park - Lake Naivasha

Early morning games drives and then depart after breakfast for Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon; you can decide either to go for boat ride to view Hippos (extra cost) or relax at the Resort. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.

Day 4:Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, drive along the Great Rift Valley, passing by the extinct volcano of Mount Longonot en route to Masai Mara Game Reserve, arriving for lunch. Relax until 16:00 Hours time for evening game drive with a chance to see the Big Five; Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and the Leopard; Spot herds of Wildebeests, Zebras, Gazelles, Impalas and Masai Giraffes and other kinds of African wildlife in this fascinating wildlife paradise. Dinner and overnight at Camp Oloshaiki or Mara Leisure Camp or Basecamp Explorer or Zebra Plains Mara Camp

Day 5:Masai Mara National Reserve

Spend a whole day viewing wildlife in Masai Mara Game reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. Have a chance to see the “BIG FIVE”: Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard. Wildebeests, Zebras, Cheetahs and Gazelles, other kinds of African wildlife can also be easily spotted. Witness the famous wildebeests (Gnu) and zebra migration from Serengeti (Tanzania) to Maasai Mara (Kenya) between July and September; this movement is one of world wonders. Masai Mara being the stomping ground of the Great Migration, a massive accumulation of 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras and 350,000 gazelles stretching their legs over 1,200 miles in an annual race to find enough water and green grass for their survival.
