Itinerary

Day 1:Nairobi Area/ Airport - Ol Pejata Conservancy

We will pick you up  from your respective hotel /Airport, and then depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy (Sweet Waters); arriving time for lunch at the Camp as well check in. Ol Pejeta is the only sanctuary for rehabilitation in Kenya of these widely abused chimpanzees with two groups living in an environment as close to their natural habitat as possible. The site is also a dedicated black rhino breeding area. Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Serena Tented Camp. (with an optional night game drives).

Day 2:Ol Pejata Conservancy (Sweetwaters) - Aberdare National Park.

After breakfast at the camp drive to the Aberdare Country Club arriving in time for lunch. You will be transferred to The Ark in the lodge’s own vehicle. Set in the heart of the Aberdare National Park, The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of awesome wildlife. The Ark comprises of three decks from which numerous balconies and lounges provide a superb location for wildlife to be seen. So that you don’t miss any animal sightings, the night guard will buzz your room when special animals come to the waterhole. The Ark has four viewing areas as well as a ground-level bunker for observing the ever-present animal activity. Spend the rest of the afternoon as well as the evening viewing game that comes to the water hole and Saltlick. Enjoy a sumptuous meal for dinner before hitting the bed. Overnight at The Ark.

Day 3:Aberdare National Park - Lake Naivasha

After breakfast return to the Aberdare Country Club where you meet up with your safari driver and then depart for Lake Naivasha arriving for lunch. Enjoy a boat trip to the lake to view hippos, birds and other kinds of African wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort or Lake Naivasha Country Club or lake Naivasha Sawela Lodge.

Day 4:Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru National Park.

Morning breakfast then depart for Lake Nakuru National Park; game drives en route to the camp for lunch as well as check in. Afternoon game drive takes you to the lake to view Flamingos and pelicans also spot White/Black Rhinos, Rothschild Giraffe, Waterbucks and other kinds of African wildlife. The Lake Forest attracts a wide variety of birds. Dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Tented camp or Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 5:Lake Nakuru National Park - Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, drive along the Great Rift Valley, passing by the extinct volcano of Mount Longonot en route to Masai Mara Game Reserve, arriving for lunch. Relax until 16:00 Hours time for evening game drive with a chance to see the Big Five; Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and the Leopard; Spot herds of Wildebeests, Zebras, Gazelles, Impalas and Masai Giraffes and other kinds of African wildlife in this fascinating wildlife paradise. Dinner and overnight at Camp Oloshaiki or Mara Leisure Camp or Basecamp Explorer or Zebra Plains Mara Camp.

Day 6:Masai Mara National Reserve

Spend a whole day viewing wildlife in Masai Mara Game reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. Have a chance to see the “BIG FIVE”: Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard. Wildebeests, Zebras, Cheetahs and Gazelles, other kinds of African wildlife can also be easily spotted. Witness the famous wildebeests (Gnu) and zebra migration from Serengeti (Tanzania) to Maasai Mara (Kenya) between July to September; this movement is one of world wonders. Masai Mara being the stomping ground of the Great Migration, a massive accumulation of 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras and 350,000 gazelles stretching their legs over 1,200 miles in an annual race to find enough water and green grass for their survival. More afternoon game drives at this jewel park of Kenya. Dinner and Overnight at Camp Oloshaiki or Mara Leisure Camp or Basecamp Explorer or Zebra Plains Mara Camp.

Day 7:Masai Mara Game Reserve- Isbenia Boarder - Serengeti National Park.

Early Morning breakfast and then start long game drives across the Mara; stop for lunch (lunch boxes) on your way to Serengeti National park. The park is plains of endless grass, tinged with the twisted shadows of acacia trees, have made it the quintessential image of a wild and untarnished Africa. Its large stone kopjes are home to rich ecosystems, and the sheer magnitude and scale of life that the plains support is staggering. On arrival in Serengeti National Park; game drives on the way to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge or Serengeti Serena Lodge.

Day 8: Serengeti National Park

Spend a whole day in Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Experience the undisturbed nature in this famous game park. Wildebeests, Zebras, Cheetahs and Gazelles, other kinds of African wildlife can also be easily spotted. Witness the famous wildebeests (Gnu) and zebra migration from Serengeti (Tanzania) to Maasai Mara (Kenya) between July to September; this movement is one of world wonders. Day 9:Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

Depart after breakfast for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving for early lunch (Lunch Boxes). Descend to the floor of the crater (12.30 Hrs) for game viewing in this unique park which is often called ‘Africa’s Eden and the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World. A visit to the crater is a main draw card for tourists coming to Tanzania and a definite world-class attraction. Within the crater rim, large herds of zebra and wildebeest graze nearby while sleeping lions laze in the sun. At dawn, the endangered black rhino returns to the thick cover of the crater forests after grazing on dew laden grass in the morning mist. Just outside the crater’s ridge, tall Masaai herd their cattle and goats over green pastures through the highland slopes, living alongside the wildlife as they have for centuries. You will be transferred to Ol dupai gorge for a 45 Min lecture on the evolution of man. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

Day 10:Ngorongoro Crater - Lake Manyara National Park.

After breakfast depart to Lake Manyara National Park, arriving time for Lunch as well as check- in at the Lodge. The park famous spectacle is the tree-climbing lions, which are occasionally seen along branches of Acacia trees. Manyara is Maasai words for a plant used by local people in making living stockades for their livestock .After lunch relax until time for afternoon game drive with a chance to see Tree climbing Lions and other kinds of African wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.

Day 11:Lake Manayara National Park- Tarangire National Park.

Depart after breakfast for Tarangire National Park with game drive en route to the Lodge Lunch as well as check in. The park is named after the Tarangire River that flows through the park and retains a real air of undiscovered Africa, particularly in the south of the park . The swamps, tinged green year round, are the focus for 550 bird varieties, the largest number of species in one habitat anywhere in the world; on drier ground, the Kori bustard – the heaviest flying bird – can be found. After lunch relax until time for the afternoon game drive giving you a chance to see different kinds of wildlife including Jumbo Elephants. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge or Tarangire Sopa Lodge.

Day 12:Tarangire National Park - Namanga Boarder - Amboseli National Park

Early morning breakfast then depart for Amboseli National Park, Via Namanga Boarder point. On arrival, make a game drive en route to the lodge or camp for check in . This Park is the home of Elephants, Wildebeest, Buffalos, Gazelles, Lions, Cheetahs, monkey families and rare bird species. In the early evening, the clouds clear, exposing the snow –capped dome of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at AA Amboseli Camp or Sentrim Amboseli Camp or Kilima Camp or Zebra Plains Amboseli Camp.

Day 13Amboseli National Park.

Spend a whole day in Amboseli National Park, with morning and afternoon game drives. This park is termed as an Animal’s paradise. Visit Masai Village and learn their rich culture at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight at AA Amboseli Lodge or Sentrim Amboseli Camp or Kilima Camp or Zebra Plain Amboseli Camp.

Day 14:Tsavo East National Park - Tsavo East National Park

Early morning game drives before breakfast then depart for Tsavo East National Park. Game drives en route to the lodge for lunch as well as check-in. Afternoon game drives which starts at 16:00 Hours through this Kenya’s largest park, with a chance to spot herds of Red Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Zebras, Gazelles, Buffaloes, Waterbucks, Impalas and different bird species. Dinner and overnight at Zomeni Lion Hill Lodge or Voi Wildlife Lodge or Sentrim Tsavo Camp.

Day 15:Tsavo East National Park - Mombasa/Diani Beach.

Early morning game drives from 6:15am followed by a breakfast at 8:30am. After breakfast proceeds for the last game drives before checking out of the park for lunch at Impala Safari Lodge. Drive to Mombasa/Diani after lunch, arriving at your respective hotel in the early evening.
