Itinerary

Day 1:Nairobi Area/Airport - Lake Nakuru National Park.

We will pick you up from your respective hotel /Airport, and then depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving time for lunch at the camp/Lodge as well as check- in. Afternoon game drives takes you around the lake to view Flamingo’s and pelicans. Also, spot White/Black Rhinos, Rothschild Giraffe, Waterbucks and other kinds of African wildlife. The Lake Forest attracts a wide variety of birds. Dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Camp or Lake Nakuru Lodge,( Lunch & Dinner).

Day 2:Lake Nakuru National Park - Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, drive along the Great Rift Valley, passing by the extinct volcano of Mount Longonot en route to Masai Mara Game Reserve, arriving for lunch. Relax until 16:00 Hours time for evening game drive with a chance to see the Big Five; Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and the Leopard; Spot herds of Wildebeests, Zebras, Gazelles, Impalas and Masai Giraffes and other kinds of African wildlife in this fascinating wildlife paradise. Dinner and overnight at Camp Oloshaiki or Mara Leisure Camp or Basecamp Explorer or Zebra Plains Mara Camp, (Full Board).

Day 3:Masai Mara National Reserve

Spend a whole day viewing wildlife in Masai Mara Game reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. Have a chance to see the “BIG FIVE”: Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard. Wildebeests, Zebras, Cheetahs and Gazelles, other kinds of African wildlife can also be easily spotted. Witness the famous wildebeests (Gnu) and zebra migration from Serengeti (Tanzania) to Maasai Mara (Kenya) between July to September; this movement is one of world wonders. Masai Mara being the stomping ground of the Great Migration, a massive accumulation of 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras and 350,000 gazelles stretching their legs over 1,200 miles in an annual race to find enough water and green grass for their survival. More afternoon game drives at this jewel park of Kenya. Dinner and Overnight at Camp Oloshaiki or Mara Leisure Camp or Basecamp Explorer or Zebra Plains Mara Camp, (Full Board).

Day 4:Masai Mara Game Reserve- Isbenia Boarder - Serengeti National Park.

Early Morning breakfast and then start long game drives across the Mara; stop for lunch (lunch boxes) on your way to Serengeti National park. The park is plains of endless grass, tinged with the twisted shadows of acacia trees, have made it the quintessential image of a wild and untarnished Africa. Its large stone kopjes are home to rich ecosystems, and the sheer magnitude and scale of life that the plains support is staggering. On arrival in Serengeti National Park; game drives on the way to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge or Serengeti Serena Lodge, (Full board).

 

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

Spend a whole day in Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Experience the undisturbed nature in this famous game park. Wildebeests, Zebras, Cheetahs and Gazelles, other kinds of African wildlife can also be easily spotted. Witness the famous wildebeests (Gnu) and zebra migration from Serengeti (Tanzania) to Maasai Mara (Kenya) between July to September; this movement is one of world wonders. Day 6:Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

Depart after breakfast for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving for early lunch (Lunch Boxes). Descend to the floor of the crater (12.30 Hrs) for game viewing in this unique park which is often called ‘Africa’s Eden and the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World. A visit to the crater is a main draw card for tourists coming to Tanzania and a definite world-class attraction. Within the crater rim, large herds of zebra and wildebeest graze nearby while sleeping lions laze in the sun. At dawn, the endangered black rhino returns to the thick cover of the crater forests after grazing on dew laden grass in the morning mist. Just outside the crater’s ridge, tall Masaai herd their cattle and goats over green pastures through the highland slopes, living alongside the wildlife as they have for centuries. You will be transferred to Ol dupai gorge for a 45 Min lecture on the evolution of man. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or Ngorongoro Serena Lodge (Full board).

Day 7:Ngororngoro Crater - Namanga Boarder - Amboseli National Park

Early morning breakfast then depart for Amboseli National Park, Via Namanga Boarder point. On arrival, make a game drive en route to the lodge or camp for check in . This Park is the home of Elephants, Wildebeest, Buffalos, Gazelles, Lions, Cheetahs, monkey families and rare bird species. In the early evening, the clouds clear, exposing the snow –capped dome of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at AA Amboseli Camp or Sentrim Amboseli Camp or Kilima Camp or Zebra Plains Amboseli Camp, (Full Board).

Day 8Amboseli National Park.

Spend a whole day in Amboseli National Park, with morning and afternoon game drives. This park is termed as an Animal’s paradise. Visit Masai Village and learn their rich culture at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight at AA Amboseli Lodge or Sentrim Amboseli Camp or Kilima Camp or Zebra Plain Amboseli Camp, , (Full Board).

Day 9:Amboseli National Park - Tsavo West National Park

Early morning game drives before breakfast then depart to Tsavo West National Park. See the volcanic formations (Shetani Lava Flow) on the way to Mzima Springs where Hippos and Crocodiles are seen from the underwater hide. Check in at the lodge as well for lunch, relax until 16:00hrs, time to visit the Rhino Sanctuary. Tsavo West National Park is covering a large area consisting of diverse terrains; the park stretches 9,065 square kilometers at a distance of about 240 km from Nairobi and about 255km from Mombasa. It provides diverse habitats for its animals as altitude ranges from 500 ft to 6,000 ft above sea level. There are rivers, forests, lakes, wooded grasslands and mountains, each harboring a distinct set of animals. The park became famous through the notorious “Man Eaters of Tsavo” incident at the turn of the century, when man-eating lions were preying on the workers building the great Kenya-Uganda Railway. This incident was also depicted in the popular movie “Ghost and the Darkness. Explore the Chaimu and Shetani Lava Flow. There is a quite a variety of wildlife and birdlife in the park. Over 600 species of birds have been recorded. Moreover, game viewing is fairly easy. Animals include the leopard, cheetah, buffalo, rhino, elephant, giraffe, zebra, lion, crocodile, mongoose, hyrax, dik dik and porcupine. Finally, the park offers excellent views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and Overnight at Ngulia Safari Lodge or Rhino Valley Lodge, (Full Board).

Day 10:Tsavo West National Park - Mombasa/Diani Beach.

Early morning game drives from 6:15am followed by a breakfast at 8:30am. After breakfast proceeds for the last game drives before checking out of the park for lunch at Impala Safari Lodge. Drive to Mombasa/Diani after lunch, arriving at your respective hotel in the early evening, (Breakfast & Lunch).
